SFA's DPD developed a Dockside Tool Dispensary (DTD) system for the Naval Research Laboratory to store, inventory, and maintain tools required to resurface and repaint Naval ships. The DTD units are shipped to the Naval yard where a ship is being resurfaced, and a dedicated staff assigned to the DTD distributes, inventories, and repairs tools as required.
