Over the past fifteen years SFA's DPD has designed and fabricated numerous data acquisition systems. The most recent family of systems being developed is an Advanced Distributed Modular Acquisition System (ADMAS).
Advanced Distributed Modular Acquisition System (ADMAS)
|
 |
| Description: |
The ADMAS comprises a versatile, distributed, plug-n-play instrument LAN for military weapon systems testing. Each instrument node residing on the ADMAS LAN utilizes standard back-plane based computer, networking, and data acquisition technology to achieve a solid-state record of a uniquely specified data type (e.g., serial bus traffic, analog data, GPS streams). Through this distributed environment, ADMAS achieves a truly scalable architecture that can be configured for any multi-channel, multi-media configuration.
ADMAS is capable of interconnection with a host LAN via copper and wireless link to provide real-time monitoring and control of the instrumentation during testing. |
