SFA’s Mobile Dental Unit (MODENT) was designed specifically to meet the U.S. Navy’s needs for providing portside dental support to the Fleet throughout the world.
SFA’s MODENTS are in use at major ports on the East and West coasts as well Europe and Asia.

The MODENT contains two fully equipped dental operatories providing a wide range of examination and treatment services.
The MODENT is powered by shore power using its reeled 75-foot cable or an on-board 25KW generator set. 100% oil-free compressed air is provided by a compressor with a desiccant drying system and moisture monitor. A 100% waterless vacuum system is also provided. The MODENT interior is finished entirely in plastic laminate and vinyl materials, facilitating sterilization. Cross contamination is minimized through the use of hands-free controls. |

40' long The mobile unit employs an all-aluminum body mounted on a business class truck cab/chassis. The MODENT is fully heated and air conditioned and designed for reliable operation in a wide range of climatic conditions. |
